Had my gums worked on and had tinintus for 5 months. Anyone exp this?

No, but my 1st cochlear implant was supposed to eliminate the tinintus I've had for life and it definitely did not; it actually worsened for a couple years or so, it went from whistles, buzzes and beeps to sounding like pots and pans clashing together.  It is now over 11 yrs and the tinintus is like what it was before the implant. After my 2nd implant on the other side, the tinintus was not affected.  I am used to it.
