Ad Placement

Banner ads can be placed in our top header or our left column. Each ad location can have up to two ads, which rotate as visitors visit the pages of our site. Ads in the first rotation are seen on the first page a visitor sees, and on every other page after that (every page if it is the only ad.) Ads in the second rotation appear on the second page, and rotate after that.

Top Header

Our top header accommodates banners of two sizes: large (468 by 60) and medium (312 by 60). The top banner accommodates only two locations of each size. Pricing for ads in the first rotation is provided below. Fees for second rotation ads are pro-rated based on the portion of visitors who view a second page. Left Column Banners

Visitors navigate our site using the Table of Contents in the left column. And your banner can be there along with the topics of interest. 

The left column accommodates ten banner locations, one before each of the main topic categories (entries with the light gray background). The maximum width is 156 pixels. A "standard" banner is 60 pixels high. Please contact us for information on taller banners. 

The table below displays our pricing for standard placement (slots four through ten). Slots one through three carry a  small premium, as presented in the second table below.

Here's an example. You want to present your message for two months.. The standard fee would be $275. But suppose you want to get your ad near the top of the column, say the second  ad. That position carries a 20% premium, and 20% of $275 is $55. So the fee for two months in the second position would be $275 + $55, or $330.

Advertising Policy

1. Your banner may link to your site, or to a separate ad we post on our site. If the link takes the visitor out of the Hearing Loss Web site, that must be done in a new browser window.

2. Payment is required before banners are posted. We accept checks or PayPal.

3. Advertisement is on a "First come, first served" basis. Ads other than premium ads will be placed in the order we receive them.

4. Animated banners are NOT accepted.

5. Maximum file size is 10k.

6. We reserve the right to refuse any ad.

7. Prices subject to change without notice.
