Instructor of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind

Begin Date: August 2008
Closing Date: Open until filled.

Nature of Work: Provide academic programs for elementary students and other duties as assigned.

Location: ISDB campus in Gooding.

Minimum Qualifications:
Idaho Standard Exceptional Child Certification with a Hearing Impaired Endorsement or ability to obtain; excellent receptive and expressive skills in American Sign Language; Bachelor's degree acceptable, Master's degree preferred; Desired Elementary Certification.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Benefits: Comprehensive fringe benefit package included; Employees and spouses receive reduced tuition at state universities ($5 per credit hour).

Successful candidate will be required to furnish a background check within three months of employment per Idaho Code 33-130.
