HLAA 2008 Convention

The 2008 HLAA Convention was held in Reno, NV  from June 12 to 15, 2008.  We were able to make it this year, and we also got some great reports from Cheryl Heppner. So I think you'll find LOTS of interesting material here!

Because we have so many reports, we're going to be a bit more organized about how we group things this year. We'll have three categories of reports.

One will be the Workshops, which I believe is the centerpiece of a hearing loss convention. This category will also include board and members meetings, the keynote speech, and the research symposium.

The second category is the Exhibits. Cheryl does a great job of covering the exhibits and we have lots of detailed reports of what products and services were on display on the exhibit floor.

Finally, we have a category called "Extras and Other". I often hear from folks that the reports from Cheryl on the convention's "extracurricular activities" really make the convention come to life. Here's where you'll find reports on the convention atmosphere, travails getting here, what's in the convention bag, etc.
