HOH-LD-News Advertising
Our Readership
HOH-LD-News focuses on hard of hearing, late deafened,
and oral deaf people. It is a weekly, subscription-based, email newsletter.
Because readers must explicitly subscribe, the audience is a focused
group who are extremely interested in hearing loss. The majority of
subscribers are people with hearing loss; service providers, friends and
family of people with hearing loss, and other interested parties
comprise the remainder.
Advertising Policy
HOH-LD-News accepts advertisements subject to the
following restrictions:
1. Only ads related to hearing loss will be accepted.
2. Ad
copy must be submitted via email to advertising@hearinglossweb.com. We cannot be responsible for errors in
the copy you provide.
3. HOH-LD-News is published each Saturday. Ad copy must be
received no later than the Friday preceding publication.
4. Ads may be withdrawn without penalty up to one week before
publication date. Ads withdrawn within one week of publication will be
subject to a charge of 50% of the ad cost.
5. Advertisement is on a "First come, first
served" basis.
6. HOH-LD-News reserves the right to refuse any ad.
7. Prices

A
small
ad is 100 words maximum
A medium ad is 200 words maximum
A large ad is 400 words maximum
Ads
longer than 400 words will be charged at multiple page rates.

Ads
are normally inserted at the end of the newsletter. However, small ads (100 word maximum) may be placed in premium locations before the first three articles.
Premium locations for classified ads are priced on a per insertion
basis, according to the following table. The total cost for a
"Premium Placement" ad is obtained by adding the costs from
the table above and the table below. For example, the fee to run an
ad in the second premium slot for three weeks would $52. The fee for a
small ad for three weeks (see table above) is $25. The premium for
second premium placement for three weeks (see table below) is $27.
